2021 Is Here Along With New Hope!

Now we are looking forward to miraculous vaccines hopefully eradicating the worst pandemic to hit the world in 100 years. We are hoping a fresh new presidency will heal the wounds of bitter divide and help to reunite the country and the world once again. We are all praying that those adversely affected by the pandemic, whether through ill health, loss of a loved one, loss of employment, loss of housing or loss of income, are able to get back on their feet and start their life over once again.

While there is now great reason for hope and optimism for the future, we can not quickly forget the lessons we have learned from our experiences of the past. As the saying goes, "those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it." One of the most poignant lessons we learned was the importance of love in our world--love for each other; love for ourselves and love of spirit that is full of love for us. 

It seemed so often throughout 2020 that we witnessed horrific acts of violence and hatred, the level of which has not been seen in many decades. This demonstrated the very lack of love for which 2020 would become known. Many have said that the lack of love present in our world was the very reason for the pandemic occurring in the first place. In fact, if you recall a trance reading from mid-year, spirit stated this was in fact the case:

"This is a global challenge to see if all the souls on the physical plane can learn to work and come together for one purpose. This is the time to put cultural, economic, and religious views aside and work as one.

Only in unity and in the realization that we are all connected and come from the same source can you overcome. For too long, there has been a separation of all of the souls in the physical world. This situation has been put forth to see if all of the children on earth can work together.

Only when you see that when one suffers, we all suffer, can you heal. Rejoice, GOD would never want you to fail or put something forth that you couldn’t overcome. A new order is approaching and we have the faith that humanity can rise up to the challenge."

I believe that the new order is based on the concept that we must love each other as we love ourselves (though Jesus said it better I'm sure). Furthermore, we must also understand that we are all connected, and thus when we love others we are in fact loving ourselves. This unity and harmony is easy to achieve if we only see that it is in our own best interest to achieve it. 

This is hardly some holy edict. Far from it. This is down-to-earth self-preservation. For without incorporating love for others as ourselves, we will surely be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past and see more of what we saw in 2020. Certainly, no one wants that!

I wish you all the very happiest new year filled with love, joy, and prosperity. I hope we all grow to learn the importance of love in our world. Love and gratitude for what we have in our lives are the two most important ingredients for not only happiness but the expansion of our souls.
