Clairsentience

clairsentience

Have you ever had that feeling in your gut, with your “gut instinct,” that you should be doing something or you get a feeling about a situation or someone? That’s your innate psychic sense called clairsentience alerting you to the needed information. Now what you actually do with that information is something completely different of course.

Clairsentience is one of the 7 main “clairs,” or psychic senses that we all have, just at different levels of awareness. Clairsentience is the ability to sense energy like personalities, character traits, hobbies, social interaction, sense of humor, sense of self, etc.

All the clairs ultimately are representations or manifestations stemming from clairsentience. For example, clairvoyance is just the visual mode of clairsentience, while clairaudience is nothing but the auditory mode of clairsentience. We’re all able to sense using our psychic senses. It just comes down to how these senses manifest themselves in the individual and how far down beneath the surface the senses reside.

In a reading, for example, a medium can receive incredible detail about a person in spirit by concentrating on their clairsentience and determine what they were like when living in the physical. You can get their sense of humor, whether they were upbeat or depressed, socially outgoing or introverted, serious or lighthearted, hardworking or lackadaisical, and so much more. Clairsentience gives a clear understanding of what that person was really like.

Clairsentience really helps the medium bring through the full essence of the communicator. This makes it feel as if the communicator is practically in the room with you. Clairsentience also details the communicator far more accurately than many of the other clairs, like clairvoyance.

Since you’re feeling their essence, there’s no interpreting what you’re feeling. You don’t have to disassemble the clues or the meanings of what’s being given. The data is right there in the feelings. And feelings don’t lie. Just imagine your own interactions with other people for a moment.

When you interact with others, can you get a good sense of what the other person is like fairly quickly? Do you gather all that detailed information somewhat accurately? Odds are many people can sum up what others are like and have a good sense of their personalities, their characters, their humor, their level of positivity and so on. We’ve relied on this as a species for millions of years.

Here are some exercises you can do at home to practice or build your own clairsentience:

Friends

Think about one of your close friends. Really bring them up closely in your mind and feel their true essence. Maybe you’ve known them for a long time and you can feel everything about what they’re truly like and how their “being” might be described. Think about every facet of their being, from their humor and social interaction to their positivity level, kind heartedness, giving nature, family orientation, work ethic, values and more. Come up with as many personality and character traits as you can list. Use an entire sheet of paper. Now, do this for each one of your friends and really get their “essence.”

Loved Ones

Repeat the same exercise as above, except this time, think about one of your loved ones, either living or who have passed. Think about their personality. If you were to describe them to a complete stranger, how would you describe them and what would you say? What words, phrases and methods would you use to give an accurate description of this person? Really paint them back into “3D” and back them seem like they’re in the room right there with you. Create a detailed portrait in your mind of what this person is like. Repeat this with as many people in your family you can think of.

Remember, clairsentience is often the strongest sense we have. While it may not be dominant for some people, once it has been “turned on” the power it offers for detailed descriptions is vast. Furthermore, when you link to others, especially with spirit, through clairsentience all your other clairs “light up” since they all derive from clairsentience themselves. I strongly encourage you to build your clairsentience and see what it can do for you.
