A Bigger Mission From Spirit

Spirit has called me to be one of those emissaries to help share its message of love and healing to the world. Now, I'm not saying I'm anyone special or that I have special powers--couldn't be further from the truth. I've just realized that no longer can I just sit by idly and do nothing to help others.

Instead, now I feel I need to get spirit's message out to the world. Rather ironic, as I think about it, given what I had previously named my mediumship business. When I first set up my business, I gave it the name Spirit-Message. Little did I know that, in fact, that's exactly what it was meant to be, for it seems I'm becoming spirit's messenger. This all feels like a giant tidal wave, something far bigger than me, that's pushing me in the direction of service and helping others.

Now I'm on a bigger mission than I'd ever thought possible. Like Dan Akroyd said in the movie The Blues Brothers, "We're on a mission from God."

This seems to tie in perfectly with my effort to publish my book about mediumship and get it out to the world. I find the timing of working to get this book published with spirit's push for me to spread its message rather uncanny. While I realize there are no such things as coincidences, synchronicities are something different. Through my book, I can now reach a greater audience and positively impact more people. Hopefully, many people will go on to read and be helped by the book. It's currently with my editor and my graphic designer and is tentatively titled Spirits Beside Us: Gain Healing and Comfort from Loved Ones in the Afterlife. I'm thinking of launching the book sometime in the spring/early summer, depending on how the production and pre-launch processes go. My heart's desire is to place it in the hands of the most people possible who can then benefit from it the most.

This theme of spirit looking for assistance in its effort to heal and awaken humanity has been seemingly gnawing at me for months. I'd previously written about this same topic. Below is a paragraph from one of my recent blog posts, Spirit's Advice To Improve Ourselves: Love One Another:

Several times recently I've had the distinct feeling from my spirit guides that all of us who are awake or are becoming awake now have the responsibility to help those who still sleep walk to awake and see the light--both in themselves and in the greater truth of existence. During some recent trance mediumship development training, for example, I would begin uttering amazing comments reflecting those very thoughts. In one instance, I stated humanity was developing and awakening at a faster rate, but there remained a huge gap that left behind the vast number of souls in the physical who had yet to awaken. I continued in that vein pleading that it was now time for those who had awoken to raise up those still in sleep. In another case, I urged all those in the physical to deepen their love for one another, raise up one another and help one another. The messages were clear: for any of us to progress we need to help others progress as well. The more we help others, both physically and spiritually, the more we help ourselves. As the saying goes, "We are only as strong as our weakest link."

Though it feels like I've got an uphill road to follow, I'm sure spirit's loving energy will present me with enough opportunities to make the path somewhat less challenging. Just looking in the rearview mirror, all my previous activity practically happened without much input from me. Perhaps that will keep happening.
