Before you begin, I want you to take a snapshot of where you are right now, because you are about to change, and the person you become has a way of forgetting where they started.
This check-in is entirely private. Nothing here is collected, submitted, or seen by anyone but you. Write your answers in your journal, date the entry, and answer honestly, because the only person you'd be fooling is the one this course is for.
Take your time with these. There are no right answers, only true ones.
Where you are now
- What, related to spirit and spirituality, are you struggling with right now?
- Where do you feel most blocked on your spiritual journey?
- What have you tried before to work through these struggles and blocks? What happened?
What you bring with you
- What do you feel are your strongest qualities? Name at least three, and don't be modest. You'll need to know your own strengths for the work ahead.
- What gives you your greatest sense of self-worth?
- When you need reminding that you are loved, what reminds you?
Where you're going
- What results are you hoping to achieve from this course? (You wrote your why in lesson 1. This is the place to go deeper or revise it.)
- Where do you see yourself in 3 months?
- Where do you see yourself in 6 months?
- Where do you see yourself in 12 months?
- As you grow, how do you feel you could make a difference for the people around you, your community, or the world?
When you're done
Date the entry and mark the page, because you'll come back to it. In the final module of this course, you'll write a commitment to your continued growth, and before you do, I'm going to ask you to reread what you wrote here today. The distance between that page and who you've become will tell you more about your development than any test could.
Now, let's begin module 1.
Namaste for now, Chris
