Reading Best Practices

I encourage you to come with a loving heart and an open mind. The more open, loving and positive the energy in a session, the stronger the connection with spirit.  This way we can generate enough energy and high vibrations to create a strong contact. Consequently, the information flow will be much greater. All connections with spirit are generated as a 3-way energy link, so as part of that link, it's important for you as the recipient to bring your loving and positive energy to the session. 

We'll begin the session with an opening prayer to help raise the energy for a closer connection with spirit.  The loving and positive energy from you the recipient is very important in helping to create a strong link with spirit. Be open to whomever comes through as spirit responds to need, not always just want. After making contact, I'll begin by giving you detailed, evidential information about the spirit person who joins us that will help you confirm whom we have.  

I'll never ask you questions about the communicator. I'll only ask for confirmation of the evidence received. Your active responses are important to maintain a high degree of energy.  Of course, it's important that you don't feed me with extra information.  This prevents me from knowing too much about the person, while it gives you greater confidence that you're truly in contact with your loved one in spirit.

We'll end the session with a closing prayer.

Keep your expectations in check and be open to whatever occurs for amazing things can happen. As the song says, “You can’t always get what you want, you get what you need.” 

You will know your loved ones in spirit are with you during a session as they begin to share personal experiences only you and they would know. This becomes more meaningful when they share experiences they have seen involving you AFTER they passed. Spirit will also share with you other significant items that underscore your relationship with them. 

The most important things to bring with you to a session are a loving heart and an open mind. It’s  also important to not set any expectations such as seeking contact with only one specific person.  Spirit controls who comes through and what messages they have.   The fewer expectations you bring to the session the more revealing and exciting the reading will be. 

You don't need to bring any objects related to your loved ones in spirit as they may only serve as a distraction, unless that object makes you feel particularly close to those who have transitioned over. Spirit is well aware of what you want and what you need. 

I find that for psychic MEDIUMSHIP sessions either phone or internet calls are often just as effective as face-to-face sessions.  While in-person sessions can create tremendous joint energy, phone or internet sessions don’t  provide  information from you the sitter by your body language or facial expressions. Some refer to that as “cold reading“ and you don’t want that.  Spirit knows where you are and where I am and distance is not relevant, for that is a physical issue.  For REIKI sessions of natural healing, this requires you to come to my business location.

I rely most heavily on the primary psychic modalities (the 5 “Clair’s”)  to communicate with spirit. I use clairvoyance (“clear seeing”) to see images, scenes and objects in my mind‘s eye. This is similar to you imagining a red delicious apple in your mind. If you focus on it hard enough it almost becomes real (you may even start to get hungry). 

I also use clairsentience (“clear feeling”) to receive various feelings, physical impressions and thoughts or attitudes. I may have a sudden and inexplicable urge to mention something.  This is handy when a spirit is conveying a sense of love to their beloved, for example, because this is a universal feeling.  

I use also claircognisence (“clear knowing”) where I suddenly just know something about the spirit or a situation it is describing.  It’s kind of like a data download. I just know the data like a switch was turned on. 

Unlike some, I haven’t been a psychic medium all my life. As a child, perhaps up to age 7 or 8, I was always aware of spirit and could feel energy around me, but I couldn’t figure it out. There were times in my bedroom at night (I slept alone and had no siblings playing jokes) when I could hear voices in my room (we lived in a very rural area at the time so it wasn’t any neighbors or my parents who were at the opposite end of the house).  This really frightened me, especially since I was so young.  

I also could feel spirit touch me when I was in my bed and I was absolutely certain I was the only one in my room. I recall several times feeling a hand gently place itself on my back, and that just freaked me out!!  Other times I was aware of the living energy in all the trees, plants and animals. I had a fun time with that by saying hello to each tree, plant and animal. I should have taken notice when I began to get responses.  But as I grew up and began to mature, I let those experiences fade.  Also, because of the scary things I was experiencing, I shut down the early gifts that were clearly present in retrospect. 

It wasn’t until I was an adult that the portal to the afterworld opened up again. During a long meditation I experienced a profound and unexpected spiritual awakening. I had been very interested in afterlife studies for 10 years prior and read everything I could get my hands on (this should have been a tip off), but perhaps those studies were just a preparation for things to come.  

During my meditation, 4 spirits came to me in my mind’s eye quite clearly against a grey background. 2 on the right were quite tall and 2 on the left were short. One on the right sent a beam of intense, pure, unconditional love straight through my chest (I guess my heart) and passed right through.  It was clearly a message of love, but its meaning was so much broader and all encompassing, that a definition for the human word for love barely scratches the surface. The spirit also wordlessly said (via telepathy) I was  perfect as I was (I had tremendous difficulty accepting this) and that I was part of a greater existence, like a bigger family or unity. 

Soon after that I began seeing my loved ones in spirit clearly in my dreams, and they expressed their messages of love. To this day I can write down everything that was said, what they looked like and how it felt as if it just happened. I felt like I was changing and began to sense things and feel things more. I knew when certain energy was around and could detect spirit again. 

It was at that point I knew I wanted to learn more about this gift and how I could develop it to its maximum potential. Since then, I've studied with the best teaching mediums in the world and continue to develop my mediumship, for the learning will never end. This was clearly meant to be used for love, and I was only a vessel. In so doing, I have to admit I’m now a profoundly changed man. Now I feel so much more loving, caring, open and concerned about others, and I try to love everyone I see. I sometimes feel like the spirits are watching my progress with interest. Now I feel I have to live up to their lofty and loving expectations.  I serve spirit with love.

Every reading is a form of experiment. No claims are made and results can not be guaranteed as anything can happen during a reading, as they are often controlled by spirit communicators. Please understand there are no guarantees who may come through to communicate. If the loved one you wished to hear from does not come through during a reading, this does not mean they do not love you. It simply means that day was not the right time or the medium was not the right medium for that loved one. The medium's aim is to try give evidence of survival of loved ones in spirit and bring through the transformative love of the spirit communicator. Any life choices you the recipient make must be your own as you take full responsibility for you own life path. Always trust your own instincts first.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your session, you are considered a "no show". A "no show" is defined as a person who purchases and schedules an appointment but fails to appear for their appointment. Any "no show" forfeits their appointment and any associated fee.
