The Moment of Transition
Over the years, I’ve spoken with hundreds of spirits describing the moment of their passing.
And again and again, what they show me isn’t pain or fear.
It’s relief.
It’s expansion.
It’s joy.
It’s as if a world more vivid than this one opens up — where thought creates reality, where peace and belonging replace struggle, and where light flows from every direction. Spirit calls this transition a kind of breath of release — like surfacing from underwater and finally taking in air again.
One young boy once came through during a reading, showing me himself hopping and skipping, full of laughter. In life, he’d been in a wheelchair. But now he was free. He pointed at his legs as if to say, “Look — I can move again.”
Moments like that remind us that consciousness doesn’t die. It becomes whole, free, and joyful.
Each transition is unique. Some souls pass quickly and become aware instantly. Others take moments — even days — to realize what’s happened. The difference is vibration: souls who’ve lived with compassion and openness tend to awaken to the light sooner, while those who’ve been fearful or closed off may need a little more time to adjust. But no one is ever alone.
Every soul is met with greeters — loving guides and family members whose purpose is to welcome new arrivals home. For many, that reunion feels like a homecoming parade — laughter, tears, joy, and an overwhelming sense of peace.
The Light Beyond
One woman once showed me her arrival — standing in a lush green field surrounded by light radiating from every direction. There was no sun; everything glowed from within.
She said, “Everything here knows it’s part of Source.”
Descriptions like hers appear again and again across history — from automatic writings of the 19th century to modern-day near-death experiences. Spirit doesn’t live under the sun; Spirit lives within it.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of pain lift and suddenly could breathe again — that moment of release gives you a small glimpse of what death truly feels like.
It’s not an ending. It’s coming home.
The Seven Spheres of Heaven
The spirit world is beautifully organized — structured in seven concentric spheres around the Earth. Think of them as layers of light, each vibrating at a higher frequency. The lower levels are closer to the physical world; the higher ones radiate pure divine love.
These aren’t places in space — they’re states of vibration. Like radio frequencies, each soul naturally tunes into the realm that matches its own resonance. Love draws you higher. Fear feels heavier and denser — not as punishment, but as simple resonance.
The first level, sometimes called the Shadowlands, is dim only because the souls there have forgotten their inner light. As soon as love enters, light returns.
Most souls arrive in the Second Sphere, often called the Sphere of Familiarity. It looks almost identical to Earth — the same trees, homes, and landscapes. Many don’t even realize they’ve passed because it feels so familiar. It gives them time to adjust and remember they are still alive, just in a different form.
From there, they evolve into the Third Sphere, known as the Summerlands — a realm of color, sound, and light more vibrant than anything on Earth. Here, joy becomes tangible. Love is the very air. Creativity and harmony flow through everything.
Above the Summerlands are the higher spheres — realms of wisdom and compassion that lead to divine union. The Seventh Sphere is the gateway to the celestial heavens, where souls merge fully with Source. Great spiritual masters like Jesus or Buddha exist beyond these realms, in the infinite planes of divine presence.
This structure mirrors our own energy body — the seven chakras. Each sphere corresponds to a level of consciousness, rising with love and awareness. Just as your vibration lifts through compassion here on Earth, your soul continues to rise through the spheres after you cross over.
How Souls Grow in Spirit
Souls evolve through three main paths:
-
Intellectual Development — the pursuit of truth, wisdom, and understanding. Souls on this path inspire new ideas in art, science, and philosophy here on Earth.
-
Purification Through Love — compassion, forgiveness, and kindness. Souls walking this path become healers, guides, and teachers.
-
Reception of Divine Love — merging fully with Source through surrender and faith. This is the rarest and most transformative path, followed by the greatest spiritual lights of humanity.
And here’s what moves me most:
You’re already on one of these paths right now.
Every act of kindness raises your vibration.
Every moment of forgiveness moves you closer to light.
Every feeling of gratitude shapes the world you’ll one day enter.
Heaven isn’t a distant place.
It’s a reflection of what you’re already becoming.
The World They Live In
Spirits often show me their surroundings — not as symbols, but as literal homes created by their thoughts. One father once appeared to his daughters surrounded by the Italian villa he’d cherished in life — ornate tiles, carved pillars wrapped in grapevines, olive trees beyond the porch. He’d recreated it perfectly in spirit, down to the smallest detail.
That’s because in the spirit world, thought creates reality.
Whatever brings joy manifests.
Energy shapes form.
Think of a garden — and it blossoms around you.
Think of a friend — and you’re instantly together.
This isn’t imagination. It’s the creative power of consciousness.
The more I speak with spirit, the more I see:
The spirit world isn’t a faraway heaven.
It’s home.
Earth is the classroom. Spirit is the continuation.
We’re here to learn the lessons of love, forgiveness, and consciousness.
Every time you live those lessons, your vibration rises — building the bridge between two worlds.
What It Means for You Now
Your soul’s state today is already shaping your afterlife.
The kindness you offer, the gratitude you feel, the forgiveness you extend — all of it builds your spiritual home.
And you don’t have to wait to feel that connection.
You can touch the spirit world now — in meditation, in stillness, in love.
Every time you quiet your mind and open your heart, you raise your frequency closer to that of Spirit. Every act of awareness thins the veil between you and those you love.
Perhaps the spirit world isn’t waiting for us at the end of life.
Perhaps it’s been walking beside us all along.
The more we understand how Spirit works, the more fear dissolves.
We begin to realize we’ve been living in two worlds all this time — the physical and the spiritual — interwoven through every act of love.
So maybe heaven isn’t somewhere “out there.”
Maybe it’s growing within us — every moment of compassion, every prayer, every spark of gratitude building that world of light before we ever cross over.
The Continuation of Life
When you lose someone, you haven’t lost them to death.
You’ve simply lost sight of them on a different wavelength.
They’re still near, still aware, still loving you — just from a brighter vibration.
And when you know that, grief transforms.
It doesn’t vanish, but it softens into peace.
Life after death stops being a belief and becomes a knowing.
The spirit world isn’t up in the clouds.
It’s not something to earn.
It’s an extension of this world — a continuation of consciousness — a mirror reflecting back the love you’ve cultivated here.
So if you take anything from this teaching, let it be this:
The more love you live with now, the closer you already are to that world of light.
Every thought, every word, every act of compassion is a step toward home.
Love and light,
Chris
